Pentecost
We want to wish everyone a blessed Pentecost. Acts 1:8 says: But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
In Ecuadorian churches it is very common to celebrate the church’s anniversary. This weekend we celebrated that we have now been meeting together at De Olijfberg for a year.
Even though it has not been an easy year in Ecuador because of the security problems, God is powerfully at work. The services began with about 50 people. By now the congregation has doubled, and sometimes even more than 100 chairs are not enough.
How great is God, and how wonderful it is that we may be witnesses of God’s mighty deeds in Ecuador. Thank you so much for your support and prayers!
