Completion in sight!
The construction of the new school location of “Unidad Educativa Monte de los Olivos” (De Olijfberg Education Center) is nearing completion. Important steps have been taken in recent weeks toward its official opening.
Permits and inspection
The procedures for the permit application have already been set in motion. The first inspection by the Ministry of Education has already taken place and was successfully completed. This confirms that the project meets the required standards and that the school is on track for a safe and compliant handover.
Final construction phase
The finishing touches are currently being applied to the construction work. Painters are hard at work finishing the classrooms and common areas, so that everything will soon look fresh and inviting.
Schoolyard completed
The schoolyard has also now been laid out. This has created an important outdoor space where children will soon be able to play, learn, and gather together.
Handover and furnishing
The official handover is scheduled in two weeks. After that, the furnishing process can begin: furniture, teaching materials, and decorations will be put in place step by step, so that the building is ready to welcome students and teachers.
