Baptism service at De Olijfberg
On Sunday, October 19, the Christian congregation Monte de los Olivos, which meets at De Olijfberg, celebrated a joyful baptism service. Two adults were baptized as a sign of their faith in Jesus Christ and as a testimony of His work of grace. In addition, 3 children were baptized as a sign of the covenant.
The adult candidates professed their faith and promised to follow Him in obedience. The children’s parents made promises to raise their children in God’s Word, to teach them the way of life, and to go before them in faith and prayer and to teach them in God’s Word.
The congregation was able to experience this service as a moment of joy and gratitude. We praise the Lord for His work in these lives, and pray that He will strengthen them by His Spirit and lead them on the way of Christ.
