Gratitude and New Opportunities in Calope
With joy and gratitude we look back on Vacation Bible Week in Calope, a village just 20 minutes’ drive from Quevedo. It was a special first step in evangelism from our church.
What began with handing out invitations at the school grew into a week in which we were able to meet 60 children and several parents. A special moment came when a village resident offered his house as a location to continue the meetings—a clear open door for the Gospel in Calope!
The dedication of our hermanos from the church was heartwarming and encouraging. Monday will be a special day: the children who took part over the past week will receive shoeboxes from Samaritan’s Purse—a tangible reminder of the love and care that surrounded them this week.
