Activities for young people
On the “De Olijfberg” project grounds in Quevedo, Ecuador, there is an activity every Saturday afternoon for young people from the church and from the neighborhoods around the project. The afternoons involve getting to know each other, playing games together, football, Bible study, singing and, of course, there was a tasty snack. It is wonderful to see young people from the “Divino Salvador” congregation together with young people from the neighborhood.
Almost all these young people have already been through a great deal. The loss of a father, brother or cousin through gang violence or depression. Divorced parents, or parents who did not raise them. They live in an environment where gangs exert a strong pull on them. Will you join us in prayer that the Gospel may work with greater power and drive out all the forces of darkness?
